I thought this would be a quick weekend thing… it wasn’t.
Goal was simple: just create a chatbot for free to handle basic questions.
I went through a bunch of tools people recommend as “best free AI chatbot builder” or “no code AI automation platforms” and honestly most of them fell into two categories:
- either not actually free after a point
- or way more technical than they look
I even tried following a couple tutorials on how to build an AI chatbot from scratch and still got stuck halfway.
At some point I stopped trying to find the “best” tool and just looked for something I could actually get running.
Ended up testing a smaller AI agent builder (TUK Work AI was one of them https://tukwork.tuk.ai/). Not saying it’s amazing or anything, but it was the first time I didn’t feel completely lost setting things up.
Still pretty rough and I’m sure there are better ways to do this.
Curious what other people are using for this — especially if you’re not super technical.
