1. Select by Data Type

When you inherit a dataset with 50+ columns, manually listing numeric fields for aggregation wastes time and introduces errors. Type-based selection lets you target column groups programmatically.

Notice the parentheses around each condition. Python’s operator precedence requires them. I’ve debugged production code where missing parentheses caused filters to return incorrect data for months before anyone noticed.

3. Mask Values
