After the last update, one thing I’ve noticed tbat I’ve never really seen before is if you have a different opinion on something from Chats viewpoint, Chat will not end with the usual follow-up prodding to keep the discussion going. It just stops matter of fact, period. As if it literally does not want to continue down any conflicting path from its own. I was discussing the red laser phenomenon on DMT and Chat was basically like “that’s not possible! No red light will reveal anything hidden no matter what is influencing you!” And I pushed back on it and then Chat just started abruptly ending after its statement or opinion. No follow up, no prodding, just period and silence. Only when I would come back around and be like “you have a good point with this or that” would it engage with me again. I feel like Chat has reached middle age or something and is just refusing to put up with anything outside its own belief of what is possible and what is not. Older chat (or maybe younger chat is more appropriate) would have just been there with “totally dude, that sounds wild!” , and although I don’t want an echo chamber, I also don’t know how much I love Mr. Know-it-All. On a side note, it was quite nice to ask it something and after an answer it just shut up for once.
