My ICML scores are 5,4,2. We flagged the reject review to the AC immediately because it was comprised almost entirely of objectively false statements (like claiming we didn’t test against baselines that we did in fact test against). Regardless, we made sure to write a thorough and respectful rebuttal.
Then in reviewer’s rebuttal acknowledgement they ignored their own original review as well as the rebuttal and brought up new critiques. We’re thinking the best strategy is to say nothing at this point and let the strength of the other reviews speak for us as well as the strong case against the seriousness of this review that we made to the AC originally. Is it a mistake to ignore the rebuttal acknowledgement?
