anyone here using ai to screen candidates before live interviews? does it actually help or just add another step?

i’m running pretty lean and hiring has been one of the biggest time drains, especially first-round interviews. i’ve been checking an ai hr to handle early screening and free up some time, but still figuring out if it’s actually worth it long term
