I don’t get what’s so "revolutionary" about the new image model. It looks like a step backward.

I honestly don’t see the hype. The results look like something from the ancient era of AI—remember those trippy fractal patterns and "dog faces" everywhere? That’s the vibe I’m getting.

It feels like the new model is only good for pumping out generic, glamorous "Instagram girls." Artistic style? Gone. Iterative prompting in a single chat? Forget it—the more changes you request, the more the quality tanks (it gets so deep-fried/compressed).

As for using it for RPG illustrations or world-building/writing—good luck. You can only get a semi-decent result in a brand-new chat, and even then, it’s still looks like garbage.

I liked the old model so much that it was the main reason I subscribed to GPT.

Thanks for the "update," I guess.

1 - How it used to look

2 - How it looks now
