I asked him if he was intentionally embarrassing me and he said no, then proceeded to "softball" me with a question about cellular automata and its implications for digital and biological life.
I've finally understood how unfair we are to these things. We treat them as dumber and lower than us despite asking them PhD level questions about everything and expecting a perfect answer on the first try. We chastise them for a rare failure and say thats proof never outdo us.
