I’m trying to become job-ready for AI/ML or GenAI roles as quickly as possible, so I’ve started focusing on building projects.
I wanted to ask:
\- Is it okay to use AI tools (like chtgpt, Claude, etc.) to understand project architecture and structure while building projects?
\- Should I use AI-powered IDEs like Cursor or Claude Code to speed up development, if I make sure I understand the design and logic myself?
My goal is not to blindly copy, but to learn faster and build solid projects that I can confidently explain in interviews.
Would this approach be acceptable from a recruiter/interviewer perspective, or is it better to build everything manually?
Would really appreciate honest advice from people in the industry
